Choosing the right mirror for your room

Start with the space

Consider where the mirror will sit and what it will reflect. A bathroom mirror, a dressing mirror and a decorative composition each serve a different purpose. Note the available wall area and the position of furniture and lighting.

Find the right proportion

Measure the width and height of the usable area. For a vanity, consider the relationship between the mirror, basin and light fittings. For a full-length design, leave enough viewing distance to see the intended reflection.

Choose the visual character

A simple polished edge gives a quiet outline. A metallic frame introduces a defined border, while a handcrafted mosaic composition can become a feature in its own right. Use a reference image to communicate the finish you prefer.
