Designing a Bespoke Floral Mirror Wall with NAVADO Rose Vase Gold

Begin with one drawing: three flowers rising from a vase across a mirrored wall. Before choosing finishes or lighting, decide where the stems should start and how much clear space the composition needs. This gives a bespoke mirror scheme a purpose beyond filling an empty wall.

The NAVADO photograph below illustrates the Rose Vase Gold design; it is not a completed UK or European project. NAVADO lists this model as made to measure, so the image is a design reference rather than a promise of a particular size or installation.

Draw the composition at the scale of the room

Measure the full wall, then mark doors, sockets, furniture and the usual viewing position. Draw the vase first and allow the flowers to spread above it. On a wide wall, give the stems enough space to remain legible from the entrance. On a narrower wall, reduce the number or span of elements rather than squeezing the same drawing into a smaller rectangle.

Make a paper outline at the proposed size and look at it from the doorway and from a seat. Check what the surrounding mirror would reflect. A window or a softly lit surface may add depth; an exposed storage area may compete with the floral motif. The final dimensions and fixing arrangement need to be confirmed for the actual wall.

Use colour to make the flowers read clearly

In the source catalogue, Rose Vase Gold combines white, gold and tea-tinted mirror glass, cut, bevelled and assembled by hand on a black mirrored ground. The dark field gives the pale petals and warm accents definition. It also means the reflected room becomes part of the composition, so compare colour samples in both daylight and the evening lighting planned for the space.

Choose one nearby finish to echo the gold or tea tint, such as a metal detail or a warm timber tone. Keep other patterns quieter around the wall. The mirror should reward a closer look at its individual pieces without requiring the entire room to imitate them.

Discuss the joins as carefully as the drawing

The character of a hand-assembled work depends on how each shaped piece meets the next. Ask for a straight-on drawing showing the outlines of the petals, stems and vase. Review the width of the bevels, the direction in which pieces catch light, the spacing at their joins and the transition to the black mirrored ground. A small finish sample can help judge the colours and edges under the room's actual light.

For a different treatment, compare NAVADO Rose Vase, which the source catalogue describes with black, white and coloured mirror glass and rear LED lighting. Treat lighting as a separate design decision: confirm its position, power provision and maintenance access before it becomes part of the brief.

Give the maker a brief that can be checked

Send the wall measurements, a front-facing photograph, the proposed floral sketch, preferred glass colours and the viewing distance. Include the wall construction and any nearby lighting or power point. Ask NAVADO to confirm the final drawing, dimensions, materials, weight, fixing approach and any electrical details for the chosen version before ordering. For an overseas enquiry, request written terms covering packing, transport, taxes and installation responsibilities.
